  21.     Liquide Crystal Display, when it comes to modems, this is the 
  22. fancy term for a "Cool screen with lots of numbers and letters on it". 
  23. Anyway, to answer the original question, AT&T Paradyne also makes some LCD
  24. 33.6 modems in their 3810+ and 3820+ (not the 3825+ though).  Of course,
  25. these are almost as expansive as the Penril.  Zypcom is also supposed to
  26. make some 33.6 modems, but I'm not sure whether or not they've got LCDs on
  27. them..

  35.     The ITU-T is expected to vote in the annex to v.34 in their March
  36. '96 meeting.  As for the Zyxel's though, well, given their recent history,
  37. I'd expect to see their Supremes to start shipping around mid '98 :>.
