- Liquide Crystal Display, when it comes to modems, this is the
- fancy term for a "Cool screen with lots of numbers and letters on it".
- Anyway, to answer the original question, AT&T Paradyne also makes some LCD
- 33.6 modems in their 3810+ and 3820+ (not the 3825+ though). Of course,
- these are almost as expansive as the Penril. Zypcom is also supposed to
- make some 33.6 modems, but I'm not sure whether or not they've got LCDs on
- them..

- The ITU-T is expected to vote in the annex to v.34 in their March
- '96 meeting. As for the Zyxel's though, well, given their recent history,
- I'd expect to see their Supremes to start shipping around mid '98 :>.
